Overview

Beycome falls into the technology platform category of flat fee companies. With that being said, they’re primarily focused on growth at the cost of quality. This is evident in their polarized reviews on Yelp and Google and weak customer service operations.

The phone was answered when I called, but the rep on the other end might as well be a chatbot. She was confused by the most basic question “What’s the difference between your company and a traditional broker?” Her answer was a jumbled rendition of the company bio that she tried to recall.

Knowledgeable customer service reps are an important aspect of a flat fee company. As these are the people you will mostly be communicating with, they must have a grasp of the basics of the business so information is not lost in translation. The rep I spoke with didn’t know what a comparative market analysis was and told me that Zillow would provide that.

The disorganization of their customer service department which can lead to further problems is also apparent in the one-star reviews on other review websites.

As of today, I would not recommend you use this flat fee company.
