Review of MLS Mart

General Observations

• The layout of the site is clean with a clear offer.  The site is also filled with many helpful links.
• The sign-up process is simple. Additional services are available a la carte.
• There is a great page filled with additional tools for the purchase of signs, books or to view helpful videos.
• The FAQ page is rich.
• Excellent page filled with links to other resources and information.
• Simple process for sellers to modify their existing listing.
• Great link to the Department of Justice regarding flat fee discount selling.

Licensing/Hours/Contacts

• Licenses: Based in Roswell, Georgia. Licensed in various areas in all 50 states.
• No email listed, but an email form.
• Telephone: 1-800-690-5803
• Hours of operation: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm EST.
• Disappointing encounter on the phone.  We called at 2:30 pm and received a voicemail saying that we had called after business hours. We were prompted to leave a message and a return call was promised on the following day…
• Facebook and Google+.

Main broker in charge is Ted Malkasian.

• Realtor.com link.
• Sales/listings.

Unique Traits of their Service and Offerings

• Their site is well-organized and user-friendly.
• There are plenty of positive reviews on third party sites.
• Average listing price is $267,270
• Their price for a standard listing is $349.95.
• Unfortunately, they do not have a full representation option.
• On-site testimonials.
• Chamber of Commerce listing for Roswell, Georgia.

Report Card

Customer Service: B

• No live answer on the phone, but site is easy to peruse and use. Simple sign-up.

Value: B

• Basic offering, with added products/services added a la carte makes for a good, custom solution.

Resources/Capabilities: B+

• Tons of information to help you with your sale, although we would like to see some additional information about the head realtor, Ted Malkasian.

Tools: B

• Difficult to evaluate because most of the tools probably exist inside their registered customer portal. Convenient tools for updating or changing listing information. Also, nice checkout feature to purchase yard signs, frames, etc.

Recommended Customer Types:

•   Advanced Sellers (realtors, Investors, etc.)
•   Intermediate Sellers (those who have sold 2-5 properties) anywhere.

Lack of a full representation option does not make this a good fit for novice sellers.
